Award winning luxury self catering Dorset holiday home in the heart of Christchurch

The Quays is an Award winning, Luxury, Grade 2 Listed, three storey, holiday home that can be let for short breaks throughout the year. This stunning and spacious self catering Dorset mansion accommodates from 10 to 25 people and is perfect for those special occasions as well as corporate events.

The Main House can sleep up to 15 people with the Corner Wing providing further bedrooms to sleep10 with an additional kitchen and dining area.

Centrally located within the Priory Quarter of the bustling Harbour town of Christchurch, this former vicarage, has 11 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms and off street car parking for up to 8 cars. There is also a large secure garden, which is rare for such a central location, with tables and seating for up to 25. This holiday home is dog friendly with secure gardens and is within a short walk to shops, restaurants, attractions and the Quay.

The property has a large, bay window, lounge with 60” TV (plus Virgin media) and an extensive kitchen diner that runs across the whole width of the house, with a feature Range double oven with 6 burner gas hob. The master bedroom has a super king-size four-poster bed and its own en-suite and seating area, within the large bay window.

Floorplan

A Welcome Pack is provided on arrival, including a bottle of Prosecco, Spring Water, locally produced Tutti Fruity Jam, Biscotti Biscuits, Eggs and Homemade Fudge. Milk, Tea & Coffee or if you wanted to upgrade to a luxury hamper for a special occassion with champagne, chocolates and a  beautiful bouquet of flowers there is a charge of £50. For corporate breaks we are able to provide a corporate pack including a continental breakfast.

Filled with character and class, this house offers adaptable and stylish accommodation. With a downstairs bedroom and wetroom for the less mobile, it is great for family and friends gatherings providing a versatile spacious living space for all ages. With the wonderful large kitchen and dining table it is an ideal place for entertaining, and if you don’t want to cook we can organise a private chef for you.

Please note we do not accept Hen or Stag party bookings for this property, failure to advise us could result in the withholding of the security bond.

Further Information

Facilities and Services: Gas fired central heating and electricity included. Travel cots, 4 high chairs and stairgates available (but please bring own cot bedding), dogs welcome, fully enclosed garden (not secure for small dogs) with patio and barbecue area. Bookings are Friday to Friday for 7 night stays, Friday to Monday for weekend stays, and Monday to Friday for mid-week stays.

  • There is a £750 refundable security deposit to ensure against damage, pets are charged at £30 each and towels are included
  • The first basket of logs for the wood burner in the lounge is free and then £5 per basket thereafter

Christchurch Harbour, the River Avon and the River Stour, are literally on your doorstep, provide some of the best fishing in the UK and are also excellent for water based sports, particularly sailing, canoeing and windsurfing. Excellent beaches can be found within a few miles at Hengistbury Head, Mudeford, Southbourne and Bournemouth. The new Forest National Park is within 5 miles. As well as the excellent shopping facilities of Christchurch, more significant centres can be found in Bournemouth (7 miles) and Southampton (20 miles)
