Quay Corner is ideally located in the historic centre of Christchurch, a few minutes walk from the town centre in one direction and a few minutes from the Quay in the other direction. This three-storey Grade 2 listed townhouse can accommodate up to 10 people in 5 bedrooms with off street car parking for up to three cars and an enclosed rear garden with teak garden furniture that can seat up to 10. There is a separate lounge, dining room with patio doors out to the rear garden (both with seating for 10) and kitchen on the ground floor and bedrooms and bathrooms on the 1st and second floors. There are very fast cable wi-fi and Virgin TV in the lounge and the master bedroom. Two other bedrooms have Freeview tv’s and the whole house is centrally heated with gas fired heating and a large wood burner in the spacious and comfortable lounge.

New for 2022  a fabulous 4 – 6 person permanent hot tub available to hire in the newly refurbished ancillary building accessed from the reception room for £325 for the weekend or £400 for the week. 

For larger groups why not combine with our adjoining Quay House then up to 25 guests can be accommodated and we give a 5% discount for multiple bookings.

Please note we do not accept Hen or Stag party bookings for this property, failure to advise us could result in the withholding of the security bond.

Facilities and Services: Gas fired central heating and electricity included. Travel cot, 2 high chairs and stairgates available (but please bring own cot bedding), dogs welcome, fully enclosed garden with patio and barbecue area. Bookings in peak season are Saturday to Saturday for 7 night stays, Friday to Monday for weekend stays, and Monday to Friday for mid-week stays.

  • There is a £250 refundable security deposit to ensure against damage, pets are charged at £40 each and towels are included
  • The first basket of logs for the wood burner in the lounge is free and then £7.50 per bag thereafter

Christchurch Harbour, the River Avon and the River Stour, are literally on your doorstep, provide some of the best fishing in the UK and are also excellent for water-based sports, particularly sailing, canoeing and windsurfing. Excellent beaches can be found within a few miles at Hengistbury Head, Mudeford, Southbourne and Bournemouth. The new Forest National Park is within 5 miles. As well as the excellent shopping facilities of Christchurch, more significant centres can be found in Bournemouth (7 miles) and Southampton (20 miles) Christchurch is an excellent base for golfers with some of the finest courses in the UK within close proximity. Remedy Oak (45 mins), Ferndown GC (20 mins), Barton on Sea GC ( 20 mins) Queens Park, (15 Mins), Meyrick Park (20 Mins ), Parkstone GC (25 mins), Broadstone GC (25 minutes), Isle of Purbeck (40 min) and for the less accomplished golfers, Solent Meads (10 mins) and Ilford Golf Centre (15 Mins). This really is the perfect house and location for a large family or a family gathering and an ideal base from which to explore the south coast but still with all facilities you could want within a very short walk.
