The British public have made their choice and decided that the UK’s most family friendly seaside destination in 2020 is Bournemouth. The vote was organised by vacation rental company HomeAway.
The Dorset town was commended by voters for its “clean, sandy beaches” and “friendly and vibrant” feel.

Canford Cliffs Beach – Very nice restaurants on the cliff tops
Sandbanks Beach – Sandy Beach and the most famous for its Celebrities who live there. Toilets, Cafe and Ice Cream. Trampolines for children. Rich Steins Restaurant.
You can walk all the way along the promenade from Sandbanks to Southbourne – it is a glorious walk of around 7 miles. Ideal for children to scoot or roller skate. Cycling is permitted all year accept in July and August between 10 am and 6 pm. Parts are allocated as dog friendly too.
