Osmund House, Salisbury sleeps 17 + 2
Osmund house is fantastic
A glowing review for our wonderful Osmund House in Salisbury for guests who unluckily had their booking cancelled elsewhere so came to stay with us at short notice.
Osmund house is fantastic. Very clean and well furnished. Really well stocked kitchen. Lots of fridge/freezer space. A few ovens and two tables for dining. The bedrooms were spacious and comfy beds. There were 16 of us in all and we had a great time there. The hot tub was nice to have and we hired the BBQ hut which was lovely too. Nice big garden. It’s within easy walking distance of the centre of Salisbury with supermarkets close by too.
We booked through Short Stay homes who were brilliant. We booked at very short notice due to a property we’d booked elsewhere being cancelled and Short Stay Homes couldn’t have been more helpful. Communication was very friendly and prompt.
They left a lovely hamper for us too which was a really nice touch.
We’ll definitely be returning here and can’t recommend it enough

Fantastic property and hosts!
We absolutely loved the property and the setting. The hot tub was a hit with everyone and there was nothing that hadn’t been considered for a large group, with loads of cutlery, crockery, two cafetières, all the cooking equipment you’d need and more. Any issues we had, our hosts were only too happy to help. Location is close to Honiton with good access to coastal towns like Lyme and Sidmouth within 40 mins. Oh and despite the quite remote location, WiFi was great.

A Brilliant Group Stay with a Lovely Hot Tub
We had a great long weekend at Mews Hill. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed, with very comfortable beds. The hot tub being ready early was a lovely touch and made our winter stay even better. Would definitely recommend for larger groups.

A relaxing and memorable stay for our guests at Forest Drove Cottage in January 2026 who enjoyed our truly charming cottage.
This is a truly charming thatched cottage on the edge of the New Forest. It is beautifully furnished, very clean, and extremely well equipped for all our needs. We stayed as a mixed age group from 10 to mid 70 to celebrate a 70th Birthday. The cottage worked perfectly well for everyone. The location is excellent, with direct access to the forest and the joy of seeing ponies roaming freely nearby. A relaxing & memorable stay.
