Fantastic property and hosts!
We absolutely loved the property and the setting. The hot tub was a hit with everyone and there was nothing that hadn’t been considered for a large group, with loads of cutlery, crockery, two cafetières, all the cooking equipment you’d need and more. Any issues we had, our hosts were only too happy to help. Location is close to Honiton with good access to coastal towns like Lyme and Sidmouth within 40 mins. Oh and despite the quite remote location, WiFi was great.

A Brilliant Group Stay with a Lovely Hot Tub
We had a great long weekend at Mews Hill. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed, with very comfortable beds. The hot tub being ready early was a lovely touch and made our winter stay even better. Would definitely recommend for larger groups.

We absolutely loved the property and the setting. It is lovely to receive great reviews and to know that our guests have enjoyed their stay with us, which is the case for the Wilson family when they rented Criddlestyle Cottage in the New Forest to gather together to see the New year 2026 in. We will attend to the worn items so thank you for letting us know.
We had a lovely stay celebrating 3 x birthdays, friendships, family and New Years. A perfect location for our group including grownups, kiddos and dogs. Thank you for helping us make perfect memories!
We had a great break away with family and friends and even had our 2 dogs with us. The house was exactly as described and easy accessible all round for kids, dogs and wheelchair friendly.A great location with walking trails on your doorstep and the added bonus of hot tub and bbq helped us make some great memories to cherish. Some of the furniture and kitchen items were a bit worn but still comfortable and very well equipped and did not cause any hindrance to our stay.

A wonderful few days at our Riverside Lodge for our December guests and for us a wonderful 5 star Review, thank you and Merry Christmas.
Another wonderful few days at Riverside Lodge, this was our second visit. So peaceful and relaxing in a delightful setting surrounded by wildlife including many types of birds including ducks, swans, kingfishers and a small herd of deer in the adjoining wood appeared on our last day. Would thoroughly recommend for those wanting seclusion and to get away from it all.
