Riverview is a modern, terraced property set on the banks of the River Stour on the outskirts of the pretty market town of Wimborne Minster, a short distance away from the open countryside and the abundant walks available in this area of Dorset. Only 10 minutes walk to a large Waitrose supermarket or a Marks & Spencer food store within a BP garage. Within 100 yards of an excellent play area for the children and boat hire for the River Stour. Wimborne square can be reached within 15 minutes and had an abundance of shops, restaurants, and quality bars,

A hallway leads to the fully fitted kitchen and the cosy sitting/dining room, which has French windows opening out to the enclosed rear terrace; this has uninterrupted views across a meadow to the River Stour just 30 yards away. From the living area, stairs lead up to the two bedrooms (the double with excellent river views and an ensuite shower-room) and the family bathroom. Newly Decorated throughout in neutral tones and with all new lounge and bedroom furniture throughout.

Welcome pack provided including a bottle of Prosecco, Flowers, New Forest Spring Water locally produced Tutti Fruity Jam, Biscotti Biscuits, Eggs, Milk, Tea & Coffee, tote bag and greetings card to send to your loved ones.

Riverview provides an ideal base from which to explore the New Forest National Park, the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site and Poole Bay, as well as the cities of Salisbury and Bournemouth.

Free fishing available on the Dorset Stour to the rear of the house and 75 yards there is a small boat hire facility open between March & October.

Please note that zip and link beds can be either twin beds or doubles.

Kitchen with all new appliances to include gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer and dishwasher. All new kitchenware throughout.

Sitting/dining room with a new curved Smart 40″ Samsung TV, DVD player, Bluetooth speaker, coal effect electric fire. New extending oak dining table with 4 chairs. Two new leather sofa both with reclining seats. Wifi fully available.

Gas central heating and electricity included, phone for incoming calls and emergency outgoing calls, travel cot and high chair available on request (but please bring own cot bedding), towels & bed linen all included; dogs welcome, fully enclosed small garden with patio area, parking for one vehicle and additional visitor spacing within 25 meters.

Short breaks available Friday to Monday (3 nights) Midweek stays Monday – Friday (4 nights) or 7-night stay, changeover day is a Friday.

  • There is a £250 refundable security deposit to ensure against damage, pets are charged at £25 each.
