Beck Cottage is named after the stream that trickles through it’s lovely garden and is situated in the heart of the New Forest. With the addition of it’s new Shepherds hut, hot tub and children’s climbing frame, it is the perfect place to experience a New Forest getaway for all the family. Easy access to memorable woodland walks and within a short walk to the local pub and excellent local store. This 18th Century thatched cottage is located on a private lane with no passing traffic and within an 0.5 acre garden. The cottage is centrally positioned in the heart of this thriving New Forest village, only a couple of minutes walk to the best village store and post office in the National Park and a 5 minute walk to the Horse and Groom in Woodgreen. In the other direction, up the lane, within minutes you will find yourself on the village green and the cricket wicket and then out into the heart of the National Park. There really could not be a better located New Forest cottage for both convenience and ease of access to the New Forest National Park .

This pretty cottage comprises a lounge with large wood burner and beamed ceiling, a separate dining room with a large table and seating for up to 14, a large kitchen/ diner with all the usual appliances including further seating for up to 7, a conservatory and a ground floor double bedroom with en-suite wet room. On the first floor, there is a master bedroom with a kingsize bed and en-suite shower room (and a secret staircase!), a twin bedroom with basin, a double bedroom, a family bathroom (with corner bath and separate shower) and separate toilet. On the second floor, there is a further double bedroom and another twin bedroom, enabling the cottage to accommodate up to 12.

The Shepherds hut is situated in the garden within a short walk to separate shower room facilities to the main house. The bright and cosy interior is fully insulated, with electric heater, zip and link beds that can be either a king size or 2 singles and a handy stable door.

Over the double carport, there is also an extensive games room with a full-size table tennis table and table football, for those wet days when perhaps the National Park is not quite so appealing.

A wonderful Welcome pack is provided including a bottle of Prosecco, New Forest Spring Water locally produced Tutti Fruity Jam, Biscuits, Milk, Tea & Coffee*. Also a discount Go New Forest card to be used locally which can provide discounts when used with participating businesses.
